Payday Treats: Unplugging and precision posing

Ah yes, payday.

That glorious moment when the monthly effort transforms into shiny new gear!!! The stars and the planets aligned beautifully yesterday, allowing me to make the decision that it was high time to treat myself to a couple of items that have been sitting on my Amazon wishlist for far too long.

Both arrived, both have been put through their paces, and I am happy to report that both are doing the exact job I bought them for.

Here is what just joined the arsenal.

1. Reclaiming My Music: The AiMoonsa 128GB MP3 Player

As regular readers will know, I’ve been steadily pulling back from the constant pinging, buzzing, and algorithmic noise of the hyper-connected world. Moving away from social media was step one, and step two is untethering my music from the phone and streaming services.

I have an extensive collection of MP3 files sitting on my hard drives doing nothing, and I missed the tactile, deliberate pleasure of actually owning my music - and knowing that buying albums actually puts money back into the artists' pockets.
