Putting this up because I can.
This is our Christmas Dinner for 2011. We don't do turkey as it's just not that good and who likes to play to tradition anyway - lol. So, this was a meal that comprised two lamb shanks each, slow cooked in ruby port with roast potatoes, roast parsnips, Yorkshire Puddings and a rather decadent ruby port gravy with added meat juices and so thick you could stand your spoon up in it, all washed down with a rather lovely sparkling Mateus Rose :-)
